Our team at MaxSys is currently seeking to fill a full time permanent Front end Manager Role for our client in the Greater Moncton Area.
Details:
- Locally owned since 1964, our client has been serving Greater Moncton with high quality foods while providing outstanding customer service, convenience and affordable prices.
- Full time, permanent position starting at $40-$45000 annually.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Previous retail management experience (including responsibility for purchasing, loss prevention, inventory control and Human Resources (Min 5 years)
- Demonstrate ability to drive the business, lead by example and support company programs
- Superior interpersonal, coaching and communication skills, verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literacy
- Ability to work flexible hours, which may include evenings and weekends if deemed necessary
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, ability to climb ladders If required
- Effective time management, organization and planning skills
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Plan and prep for inventory management
- Provide effective leadership and ongoing mentorship, ensuring development of staff
- Manage wage administration within company guidelines
- Hire and/or support hiring for all departments
- Manage schedules, absenteeism, full time – part time staffing ratio
- Conduct probationary review for new hires, annual staff performance reviews
- Manage staff performance through ongoing coaching, action planning, and follow-up
- Manage conflict and ensure effective and timely resolution
- Review monthly financial statements with owners
- Develop and execute strategies to improve business efficiency at the store level
