Wash Bay Attendant / Bus Cleaner
Location: Whistler, BC
Do you prefer a position that is hands-on over working from a desk? PWTransit is seeking full-time Wash Bay Attendants to join our team in Whistler. These are temporary positions, ending April 18, 2022; however, there is the potential to turn into a permanent role.
Duties:
Responsible for the fueling and cleaning of the interiors and exteriors of any vehicle that is owned, operated or leased by the Company.
- Clean the interiors and exteriors of various vehicles as determined by the Company
- Fuel and check all fluid levels as determined by cleaning and fueling procedures
- Clean interior / exterior of bus advertising and back lighting; report any interior lights that are not working; replace interior & exterior advertising signs when instructed to do so
- As part of the vault dumping procedures, must "probe" buses and "dump" vault canisters into vault receiver unit
- May be required to "pre-trip" a bus
- Miscellaneous building cleaning duties, dumping trashcans and washing floors when assigned
- Cleaning engine compartments, undercarriages, wheels, and vehicle parts cleaning
- Sanitization of buses in compliance with Provincial Health regulations
Qualifications:
- Must have a Class 5 British Columbia driver's license or higher
- Air Brake Endorsement considered an asset
- Ability to understand, speak, and write English in-order-to communicate effectively with the traveling public and to report on incidents involving safety and/or service
- No criminal convictions or pending charges relating directly to the Wash Bay Attendant position
- Previous cleaning or detailing experience considered an asset

- Shifts (12 hours) - 4 days on / 4 days off; 3:00 pm - 3:00 am
