Senior/Lead Software Engineer -Web
On behalf of our Client, PROCOM is searching for a Software Engineer Web. The candidate should have excellent foundations of a seasoned programmer. This professional is a dedicated software engineer with excellent knowledge of Java, JavaScript and scripting languages such as Python. Being passionate about the health and wellness industry is a must. Job Details
As the Lead Software Engineer in this team, you will:
- work with product managers, designers, and a team of extraordinary engineers to make one of a kind and user experiences that will transform mobile solutions for this client.
- Work with a team of developers to design, and develop this client's Web Services, API and Frontend.
- You will write clean and well-tested code. This is paramount, as it will allow this client to keep their applications stable and easy to be modified when needed.
- You will build and improve our continuous integration processes and automation.
Mandatory Skills
As the Lead Software Engineer in this team, you will have:
- BS or higher in Software Engineering or related field
- 5 to 10 years professional programming experience in building scalable, highly available web applications
- Knowledge of Java, JavaScript and experience with scripting languages such as Python
- Experience in microservice and container technologies such as docker, Kubernetes is a definite plus
- Have built web applications and possess hands-on experience in related concepts like web services, SOA (GraphQL, REST), and API design is another plus
- Practical experience with client-side JavaScript, CSS, front-end tooling, and component-driven UI development (React/Redux/Angular)
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Couchbase, Redis
- Experience with cloud computing services such as Azure, AWS
