The ideal candidate must be self-driven, organized, and comfortable working under tight deadlines with minimal supervision. The Bookkeeper will manage accounts payable, reconciliation, month-end closing, and accounts receivable. Additionally, the Bookkeeper will handle coding, light journal entries or general ledger reconciliation and perform data entry, cash applications, and full cycle A/P. How you will make an impact
- Assemble sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
- Direct Accounts Receivable
- Assemble cash flow projections, as needed
- Organize subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement
- Well-versed in credit card management and reconciliation
- Uphold a general ledger
- Administer monthly accounting close
- Administrate Accounts Payable
- Assemble monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
- Sustain monthly accounting close
- Other special projects as requested- Comprehensive knowledge of Sage 50
- Bank reconciliations experience required
- Cash Flow Analysis experience
- Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
- Skilled in analytical, quantitative and social skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines
- High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills
- Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills
- Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Crucial accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
