As a Price & Promotions Analyst, you will be joining a dynamic Plan Management team responsible for the implementation, coordination, and communication of pricing and promotional offers within our retail systems. You will be collaborating with cross-functional partners to support business process efficiencies and resolve inconsistencies.
Responsibilities
- Implementing, coordinating, and communicating pricing, promotional, and plan updates within Glentel's various retail systems; point of sale system, price cards, and online, and ensuring compatibility, accuracy, and alignment with retail and financial reporting requirements
- Collaborates with cross-functional partners; including retail management, purchasing, merchandising and finance to identify, analyze, resolve, and support system inconsistencies or discrepancies
- Proactively gathers, analyzes, and drives insights and recommendations for business process efficiencies and sales tools
- Monitors wireless retail industry and competitor's programs, pricing and promotional offers
- Performs other related duties
Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree in Business or a combination of related education and work experience
- Retail work experience and familiarity with retail point of sale systems is an asset
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, comfortable working with large amounts of data
- Bilingual English/French is an asset
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (both verbal and written)
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and a passion to learn
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multi-task and exercise sound judgment to prioritize activities
- Ability to work a flexible, full-time schedule.
