ATCO Structures & Logistics is seeking an Operations Manager to join our team on a full-time permanent basis as part of our Timmins, Ontario branch.

This particular local team manages the rentals and logistics of our space rental fleet and modular buildings across the construction, industrial and mining sectors.
As the ideal candidate, you are able to:
- Manage and ensure effective execution of all site work, Installation, retrofitting, and service work including managing all third-party relationships.
- Ensure projects are executed safely and understand client site(s) restrictions, and safety plans.
- Accountable for maintaining and servicing the fleet, yard, and the office; overseeing logistics, and supporting sales team with various project and operational matters.
- Provide estimates for all site work, retrofitting and service work to be undertaken by the Branch.
- Travel to client sites to supervise works and address client requests as needed.
- Accountable for maintaining equipment, conducting inspections, and facilitating repairs regularly as needed.
- Oversight of fleet logistics including delivery and pickup of fleet assets.
- Ensure all installation files, certification, bids, and WIPS are accurate and documented according to company procedures and policies.
- Ensure proper cost controls are in place for all operations and team's objectives are met according to project scope.
- Liaise with the Contract Administrator to ensure practical completion of invoicing is achieved as per contract.
Knowledge and skills that you can add to the team:
- 6+ years working in a project-based organization in an operations management role, including budgetary responsibilities.
- Exceptional maintenance and operational project management and construction skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Understanding of building codes that applied to relocatable structures across all Eastern Canadian provinces.
- Experience executing construction projects at mine sites, preferably in Timmins and the surrounding area considered an asset;
- Strong ability to solve problems;
- Ability to lead people and drive execution excellence from both employees and 3rd parties;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Excellent knowledge and skills with the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
