Job Description:
UPS SCS is currently looking to fill various positions into their Brokerage Department.

Initial training will be held at 1221, 32nd Avenue, Lachine, Quebec.
The salary proposal will be established according to the combination of your years of experience and your education related to the field of Customs Brokerage / International Trade.

UPS SCS has a tuition reimbursement program, and you will have the opportunity to become a Certified Customs Specialist and evolve in the organization.
Position summary:
• Releases and/or confirmations of customs declarations for non-complex to complex shipments using the customer profile in the SCS internal system depending on your experience.
• Creates or modifies clients profile/classification codes in UPS SCS internal system using the Harmonized System.
• Processes delivery service and/or requests for import permits when required and/or collects and sends the appropriate documentation to the government.
• Responds to questions and requests from external/internal customers, carriers and the Canada Border Services Agency.
Minimum requirements:
• Completed high school diploma.
• Bilingualism (French/English) – Intermediate to Expert level depending on your role.
• Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Ability to use Websites to search for information related to shipments.
Skills that will enhance our salary offer:
• College Degree in international trade/logistics.
• Experience in a Customs Broker
• Knowledge of customs operations, laws and regulations and other government departments.
• Knowledge of Harmonized System
• Certification from the Canadian Society of Customs Brokers
