Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
The UPS Driver is responsible for daily delivery and collections of inbound /outbound shipments.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Learning and properly executing UPS safe driving methods
- Operating vehicles with standard (manual) transmission
- Possessing a valid AZ license
- Complying with UPS appearance guidelines
- Complete pre-trip inspection of vehicle to ensure road-worthiness
- Complete post-trip inspection
- Ensure correct completion of UPS paperwork
EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to drive standard (manual) transmission
- Available to work daily
- Flexible to work any 8 hour shift between the hours of 21:00 to 10:00
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Possession of a valid AZ license
- No at fault accidents within the last 3 years
- No violations within the last 12 months
- Strong customer service skills
- Physical examination by a UPS identified doctor
- Fast Pass is an asset
