WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Working in any of our Warehouse Jobs will require you to understand and commit to our safety guidelines, expectations around punctuality and attendance, adherence to company policies & procedures, and perform a variety of functions that will include but are not limited to: organizing stock and materials, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, retrieving stock with strong focus on speed and accuracy.
SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:
· Picking/loading orders (average weight 5 – 20 lbs.) onto a cart (weight 80 lbs.), maneuvering cart through warehouse aisles.
· Packing orders securely, coding with proper labelling and placing packages on conveyor belt (average weight up to 55 lb.)
· Moving between different locations within the warehouse to carefully fill bins, while avoiding damage to merchandise/items.
· Verifying counts on order against physical count on belt prior to shipping.
· Checking orders for customer/shipping instructions.
· Other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING:
· Open mind, and strong body.
· Secondary school diploma or relevant work experience.
· Work history that demonstrates reliability; warehouse work experience is a plus.
· Desire to work, and contribute to the company's success.
· Ability to follow instructions & safety guidelines, working in a fast pace environment.
· Ability to work on your feet for 8-hour shifts and lift 20 - 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
· Effective communication skills in English.
· Must be able to successfully pass a Physical Abilities Test and Criminal Background Check.
