Our client is looking for an SSE advisor who is intelligent, curious, who likes to meet challenges and solve problems in order to improve people's lives. You will work with a flexible, dynamic and well-connected team.
In this role, you will be asked to:
- Participate in the development of the ESS strategic vision, standards and procedures;
- Act as an expert in health, safety, ergonomics and / or industrial hygiene.
- Develop programs to address risks, provide technical support.
- Assist in the design of workstations to improve ergonomics and known constraining conditions.
- Participate in the development of risk analyzes and proposed mitigation measures.
- Knowledge of hazardous products used in aeronautics and their impacts (an asset)
- Make recommendations on all occupational health and safety (OHS) issues.
Qualifications
As an ideal candidate, you
- You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Health, Safety, Ergonomics and/or Industrial Hygiene or in a related field;
- You have a minimum of 10 years experience in a manufacturing environment;
- Good knowledge of applicable provincial and federal legislation and standards;
- You have security professional accreditation (CRSP, CSP, ICH, ROH etc.) would be an asset.
- You are bilingual English / French, oral and written;
- You are familiar with ISO 45001.
- You have strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills;
- Ability to tailor your message to different levels of hierarchy;
- You have mastered strategic thinking - look for off-the-beaten-path solutions, solid analytical skills and problem-solving skills
- You are autonomous, structured
- Excellent mastery of the MS Office suite
- Your problem solving is customer-focused
- You have a good knowledge of problem solving methodology.
